PLAYGROUND PLAY DATE
Join us for our Playground Play-dates on the first Friday of June, August, and September from 9:30 - 11:30 AM at Central Park. Bring your little ones, newborn through kindergarten and have some fun in the sun!
LABOR DAY SUNDAY
On Sunday, September 6 we will finish up our Summer Series "Practical Godliness" and our summer schedule with one service 11 AM and no Sunday School. Kids will worship with their families in the sanctuary.
WEDNESDAY PROGRAMS
On September 9 our Wednesday night programming will resume with Adult Bible Studies, Central Kids & Discovery at 6:30 PM, Grief Share and Boundaries at 6 PM, & worship rehearsals at various times. Simple Suppers will resume at 5:15 PM. Sign-up for certain classes will be available soon at centralnazarene.com/register.
FALL WORSHIP TIMES
On Sunday, September 13, we will resume our regular worship schedule with Choir & Orchestra led service at 9:30 AM & Band led service at 11 AM. Age Level Sunday School will be available at 9:30 AM & Adult Sunday School available during both 9:30 & 11 AM.
WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDIES
Women's Ministry is offering 3 studies this fall: "The Names of God," Tuesdays at 9:30 AM in Rm. 3, running Sep. 8-Oct. 27. "David," Wednesdays at 6:30 PM in Rm. 3, Sep. 9-Dec. 9, & "Now and Not Yet," Wednesdays at 6:30 PM in Rm. 6, Sep. 9-Nov. 4. GRIEFSHARE
GriefShare is a 13-week support group for those who are grieving from the loss of a loved one. Find the care and support you need through this difficult time. Wednesday at 6 PM in Rms. 14/15 running September 9 - December 9.
BOUNDARIES BIBLE STUDY
Join us as we explore how to set healthy limits in our relationships, say "no" without guilt, live with greater purpose, and walk freely in God's love- all through a Biblical lens. UPWARD COACHES
Our Upward Sports program will be starting in December. Early registration for athletes will open September 1. We are looking for men & women that love kids and love the Lord to become coaches for our basketball & cheerleading leagues. MEN’S FALL RETREAT
Men's Fall Retreat we will be at the nearby Camp Lael in Lapeer. Special Speaker on Saturday is Dr. Steve Anthony. $85 per person or $45 for a Saturday only option. You can register at centralnazarene.com/register by Sep. 13.
LITTLE LAMBS SOCKTEMBER
During the month of September, Little Lambs Compassionate Ministries is asking for donations of NEW children's socks & underwear. Sock sizes: newborn - Shoe size 4 youth. Underwear sizes: 2T - 14/16 kids. You can drop off items at our church office during our office hours.
UPWARD SPORTS
Upward Early Registration is now open. If you have an athlete age 4 through Grade 8 that would like to join our basketball or cheer program, you can register at centralnazarene.com/register. Early registration with $20 off throughout the month of September. Registration closes Nov. 14. For basketball players, payment is due when you fill out the form but registration is not complete until the participant attends an evaluation to be placed on a team.
MISSION OUTREACH

24/7 PRAYER WEEK
Oct. 4-11 we will be praying for each other, our community, and the world every hour for an entire week. You can sign up to pray for an hour at the church that week at centralnazarene.com/register. You can also submit a prayer request there to be prayed for that week.
HYMN, HYMN, HOORAY!
Join us on Sunday, October 25 at 5 PM as the Choir & Orchestra lead us in an all church hymn experience called Hymn, Hymn, Hooray! There will be an offering to benefit Quizzing participants going to General Assembly.
DNOW YOUTH EVENT
DNOW is an annual fall retreat uniting youth groups from across Greater Flint. Believing God's Kingdom is bigger than any one church, we gather across denominations to worship, grow, & be sent out to live the Gospel in our schools & neighborhoods. Sign up at centralnazarene.com/register.
SENIOR ADULT TRIP

RECOVERY PROGRAM
The Central Community Recovery ministry (CCR) is a Christ-Centered recovery program designed to help people deal with dysfunctional, compulsive, and addictive behaviors through the 8 Principles from the Beatitudes of the New Testament and 12 biblically-based steps to victory. This program is held every Friday at 6:30 PM.

Our community play-date is the first Friday of every month for October - May from 9:30 - 11:30 AM. This is a time you can bring your little ones, newborn - kindergarten, to our Discovery Worship (use Door 6 South) or Central Park weather permitting.
